Wow! Was this the same room!

This wonderful couple were so much fun to work with. They went all out!

They or should we say she (LOL) painted the livingroom.

Then we returned and staged.

Same furniture except we removed the two rose matching chairs (their plan was not to move them to their new home so now was the time to find a new home for them)

We moved the cedar chest to infront of the window (it was beside th sofa)

Moved the end table that was previously between the chairs to beside the sofa.

Changed the art work

Added some cushions for color.

Added the white drapes

The cost to the client was paint and their time to paint.

Did this help this home sell? Yes it did!

In this photo we made some simple changes.

Moved the matching chairs beside each other.

Moved the table that was in front of the window to the oppoite wall

Moved the chair with the foot stool to an area that would not interfere with entering the home.

This opend up the living room and allowed more floor space for people to enjoy walking around the room.

Simple and no cost incurred.

What is staging?

Staging can be from the simplest of things like rearranging, removing or adding diffrent pieces of furniture and accessories to painting!

When we listed this home it was orginized, clean and perfect for the family that lived here.

Did it have the appeal for todays buyers? The room was spacious and was able to accommodate all the current furnishings. When you came into the home you entered by the blue/grey chair in the bottom left side of the photo. The chairs location wth the foot stool closed off the entrance area.

This was a simple change. See next photo.
